What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in from 3 pm, check-out by 10 am. We are happy to arrange different times individually.

Can I use the garden, grill and sauna?
The garden and charcoal grill are open to all guests. The sauna can be used for a fee – please ask beforehand.
How does booking work?
Pick your dates in the calendar and send a non-binding enquiry. We usually reply within a day with a confirmation and payment details.
When are check-in and check-out?
Check-in from 3 pm, check-out by 10 am. If the apartment is not booked the day before or on your departure day, earlier arrival or later departure is possible by arrangement. No change of guests is possible on Sundays, as there is no final cleaning on Sundays: after a Sunday departure the apartment can be booked again from Monday, and a Sunday departure is only possible if no new booking starts that day.
What is the cancellation policy?
Free cancellation up to 30 days before arrival. After that, the terms sent with your confirmation apply.
Is a tourist tax charged?
Yes. In Horumersiel-Schillig (tourist-tax zone I) the municipality of Wangerland charges a visitor tax per person and night under its tax statute. It is not included in the rent. 2026 rates, peak season (23 Mar–31 Oct) / rest of the year: adults €3.20 / €1.30, teenagers (13–17) €2.40 / €1.00, children (4–12) €1.20 / €0.50. Children up to 3 years are exempt. In return you receive the guest card (NordseeCard) with free beach access, events and other benefits. The price calculator on the booking page includes the visitor tax by age group. We register you in the electronic guest-card system after arrival and collect the tax; you receive the card digitally.
